After graduating from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a master's degree in sculpture in 1996, I began exhibiting my work in NYC and Chicago galleries. I supported myself by teaching art for cultural institutions such as the Guggenheim Museum, Noguchi Museum, and Queens Museum of Art. A Williamsburg Brooklyn ex-pat, I now reside in Maplewood NJ with my husband and two daughters. Coming from a family of artists and scientists taught me to observe the world around me, be curious and persistent. The different phases of my work reflect my evolution, from student to working artist to mother and wife, to present artwork.
